hey,
Now ive read about the gravis spot or whatever but do they always have this and does it swole up when pregnent or is there no trace of this when they are not pregnent

The best way to tell is by their swelling abdomen, mood swings and cravings for ice cream flavored flake food...

do i have to put her in a livebreeder bag or something becouse my angle fish will most likely eat the youngins

The babies are relatively large, about 1/4 inch...yes, the angel, and even the mom may make short order of them. Use a livebearer trap, or a separate tank with lots of plastic plants - some floating - I've had good luck that way. Temperature about 78 - others use higher to grow them quicker, but the trade off is a shorter life span. Keep the lights on about 14-16 hours a day - feed ground flake 3-4 times a day, baby brine if you got them. Keep up with water changes. Separate males at about 1 month. Enjoy!

Fry numbers depend greatly on the age of the female and how many times she has given birth. With each group of fry, the quantities usually get larger. The female usually gets really wide before giving birth. Just about any fish will eat fry. If fry will fit in their mouth, they will most likely eat them. Some females don't start eating until like 24 hours after birth, but all females vary.
