Are my severums male or female?

I don't know if they are a male or female, can anyone tell from my pictures? First is my gold severum "Sunny" and the 2nd is my green severum "Emerald". I've read so many different ways to tell them from male or female but I still can't tell. Both are approximately 4-5". Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Look like two males, although the first could be a female, how big are they?

The gold looks about 4-5" and the green slightly smaller.

I always look to see if there is any "worming" or lines of prominent color on the muzzle (cheek). That is a male traight although females can have some color in this area, just not as prominent.

Is this a rule for all severums? I've got a red spot gold severum (I think this is a discus cross), and it has all sorts of funky lines on its head and cheeks and the rest of its body, but I attributed that to the discus coming out in him (her?).
