I have a 125 gallon tank with 5 mickey mouse platy's in there, all i know is that the bottom of my tank is covered and when i mean covered you cannot look at the bottom and see a spot with no poo...Its driving me crazy, i vaccumed it last night and today it looks like i never even did it... I have a cannister filter on it but no poo ever seems to make its way there it just falls right to the bottom, anybody have some ideas, I never had this problem in my 55 gallon, i have angels, rams, tetras, cory's serpaes, and the bottom never looks this bad. Oh, feeding is once every 2 days for them so i know i can be overfeeding since there are only 5 fish.

i know, i honestly do not get it, there is absolutely nothing else in the tank with them, there are two right now swimming around with poo hanging, i just dont get this, i wish my camera was working so i can take a pic and show everybody this is insane...

i can't understand the source of your problem - i have angels, cories, tetras as well and i'm not sure i've ever actually seen them "go" in the 9-10 months i've had them. as far as a solution/compromise - get a powerhead and place it in the tank so that the current pushes debris on the bottom of the tank towards the canister intake. also, how often do you clean the canister? if it is getting clogged, especially if you have a planted tank, you may want to start cleaning it twice a month.
