Am am wondering if plecos are toxic. The reason I ask is because I found my full grown male jack dempsey dead yesterday at the bottom of my tank :shakehead:. He was very healthy very colorful, and had no previous problems. I noticed that there were peices of my brown bristlenose pleco also in the tank. It does not make any sense, They have been living in my 125 gal tank for a long time. I know that my Demspey was a bully and he was the bigest fish in the tank. My tank parameters are perfect and the other fish are doing fine. Any thoughts?:help:
