I use OO at work since my Office 2000 installation is tweaked. I lost the menubar ni MS Word and the ONLY way I can save documents is to close the Window and let the paperclip ask me to save the document or not.
One thing I love about OO is the direct export to PDF of just about anything. That and support for WordPerfect docs has also come in handy.
Yes i use open office. I use free software whenever its possible (and it usually is). Why pay for software when there is so much good free software around.
I use OO at home, MS at work. I really like OO--the database piece is great, though I wish I could import all the forms, queries and reports as well as the tables. But, I'm just lazy--I'd rather not rebuild if I don't have to. Being able to read Access tables was the primary reason I tried OO in the first place.
