are there any teen reefers here?

eh, I just turned 20 two months ago, but I've had saltwater tanks since I was 13 =D Being irresponsible with marine tanks, even as a teen is ridiculous. If anyone would know how much I took care of my saltwater tanks when I was a teen, and how much I knew at that age about fish...I even worked at my local LFS from when I was 14.

You don't run in every other week in search of another percula for your perpetually un-cycled 5g mega-reef, then leave tire marks all over the parking lot as you peel-out in your dad's Cobra, do you? [/jk]

number one.. you CAN be 21 and still a teenager.. ask me when i drink. ;)

Im 17 and I dont reef yet but im doing prety well with my octopus :)
 
I was a teen reefer....wait, you mean coral reefs....nevermind.....
 
I wouldn't go around calling myself a teen reefer ;)

But in all honestly, when does anyone think teenagers are capable of anything?
 
I was once a teen reefer...but it wasn't with corals or fish tanks. JK!

Age doesn't mean much sometimes, If you have an experienced friend that is willing to help you learn the proper care for anything, then why not? We all know it is sometimes easier to learn at a younger age before we get old and set in our ways. I was rebuilding ingines when I was 15, I didn't even have a license to drive yet, but did that matter.. No. it didn't. I mean, look at some of the time and maticulous effort soem teen girls put into their hari and makeup for crying out loud. Why can't he maintain a reef?
