does anyone know if these are any good,.. or are they just nitrate factories like every thing else,.. and if OK how would you hook them up,.. or are there anything else that is better and easier to use/change/maintain

looks like the pleated on would be just like my 350 mag, only with the micron cartridge,..?
looking for something to help keep my tank easier to use,.. i have no sump as it is a double metal tank stand,.. with fresh water tank on bottom,.. and would like to get some things off the rims,..

Just another type of fluidized bed filter (Media Reactor) it seems and those are always good to have. Seems like it would be hard to hook up without a sump. Not really anything like it that doesn't at least hang on the back of your tank with a pump in the tank to feed it.

What do you plan on using it for? Ace has a Two Little Fishes reactor and I've got a ViaAqua Poly-Reactor. Mine came complete and would HOB if you wanted it to. It's pretty much a plug-n-play reactor.

Tell him Ace.
