Are Tiger Oscars very nippy?

I HAD A TIGER OSCAR TILL HE DIED OF OLD AGE AND HE NEVER NIPPED AT ANY OF MY FISH HE SWALLOWED THEM WHOLE LOL SO TRY NOT TO GET ANY SMALL FISH WITH HIM THAT HE CAN FIT IN HIS MOUTH. ALTHOUGH THEY WILL BITE AT FISH IF THEY CORNER THEM OR GET INTO THEIR TERRITORY THEY ARE VERY AGGRESIVE FISH AND GET PRETTY BIG SO U WILL NEED ALOT OF SPACE

caps lock stuck much?

I wouldn't reccomend keeping them with any fish smaller than them. Maybe with other oscars, but still have to watch out for agression.

aggression wil vary with Oscars.. in terms of actual aggression.. they are not as aggressive as many other Cichlids.. but that said.. they are still Cichlids..and will try to eat anything they can fit in their mouths..
like amny other CA/SA cichlids they are conspecific aggressive..meaning they are aggressive with thier own species.

I've seen tanks where Oscars and Angelfish lived together.. definitely not a mix I would suggest.

Well I have a 500gallon, and
he's 13 inches and I have a 13 inch mbu puffer? Is that a bad move?
