Arowana Feeding Problems

try bloodworms and arrow sticks. add a little garlic juice. also, check out monsterfishkeepers.com. lots of people over there have aros

hmm that is very weird for an aro to sit on the bottom, even when mine is un-active, it just kinda floats around the surface. Mine didn't really eat for the first few days after i got it but it did come arounds and now it will devower anything that touches the surface of the water.

like everyone else has said thr aro sticks enhaced with a bit of garlic, mine also loves the pellets i use for my oscar, frozen and freeze dried blood worms, i dunno just try a bunch of different things, and double chack water params, cuz unless your tank is very heavily planted i don't think you should have no nitrates?????

What size tank is he in???

thats good most fish will not starve themselves, good to here yours came around, you will be surprised how fast your aro will grow, i haven't had mine too long ( i think maybe 6 months or so) and it is about a foot or so now

he is in a 72 gallon bowfront tank right now but im gonna construst a 300 gal when i get enough money for the materials around july:)

hes about 7" right now. I have heard of the rapid growth of well taken care of arowana and I'm glad Ares (my arowana) will have a large home in around 3 months.
