Arowanas...

I'm not even sure I spelled the name right, but you get the basic idea. Anyway do Arowanas live in brackish water? And does anybody own one?

In a word, no. By the way, the common silver - Osteoglossum bicchirosum - attains lengths nearing four feet, thus requiring a minimum tank volume of 300 gallons.
 
No arowana is suited for a brackish tank. They all exist in freshwater, and along with the silver, the blacks,jardinis, and asian aros all attain lengths of over 3ft when given a proper environment,
 
Hah, 300 gallons?? That's a bit much for me...
