I recently bought an arrow crab off one of those online fish stores, and would like to know a couple of things before it gets here. I read on one site that they require plenty of room, but did not specify how much "pleny of room" actually was. I have a twenty-nine gallon tank; is that big enough?

The second thing I'm wondering about is whether or not they tend to kill fish. He will be housed with a maroon clown fish and a neon goby. If well-fed, will he leave them alone? If not, I can place him in a crab-only tank.

They get about 6 inches wide a so it should be big enough for it. They don't produce a lot of metabolic waste either like a fish as they are pretty sedentary and inverts in general produce less bodily waste. As to the hard on fish issue well, most of them aren't at all but, every once in a while you'll run into one that's a killer,"rare I wouldn't worry about it". IME they are much more likely to go after snails or hermits if they are starved.
hth and sorry it's a bit vague.
