Has anyone ever used this or a similar product to cultivate artemia? What are your thoughts?

Never used it. My thought is that it's a glorified soda bottle (2liter plastic type) which I have used to cultivate them. If you have a tank around 80degrees, you can set the bottle in it upside down with the bottom cut out. Add water, add an air stone so it's down in the neck, add a TBlsp of salt and cyst.
Looks like it would work but I'm a cheap s.o......

I've had trouble with the soda bottle method. After awhile (even with cleaning) my yields drop. I find them somewhat cumbersome and they are hard to position in a tank (imagine the horror if one tipped over). My solution: Glass. I find pint glasses worked well in a tank I had set up just as an incubator (3in of water only). Now I'm space limited and plan on switching to flower vases. Gunna set them right in the corner of one of my tanks (all set at 80 F). Throw a wand attached to airline tubing and hatch away. Beter yet would be a nice glass graduated cylinder.

I agree that glass is easier to deal with...position, doesn't pop up on you if you drain some water out. 2L bottle produced way more than I (my fish) could eat up in a couple days anyway so the pint jar is a good suggestion. :thm:
