I just read the thread about posting pictures from where you live and saw Chill's comments about port-o-potty/rest-side stop bathrooms being creepy...and it reminded me of something so awful I just had to share.

About 1.5-2 months ago (at least I think it was that far back), a woman who stopped at one of the road-side bathrooms in our beautiful white mountains area happened to look down into the toilet...and see a face peering up at her!!!!!!!!:eek:

Turns out some psycho societal defect had decided that climbing INTO the septic holding "tank" of a ladies bathroom would be a good way to "view" them. Needless to say, he was arrested.

So, um, yah. If the sheer uncleanliness of it all doesn't throw you off...this ought to. I will never again venture into one of those bathroom stops!

Someone willing to stand in sewage to get a peek? Sick!

I've learned that there are some rest areas not worth stopping at, so am careful, always stop at the good ones, and carry 'emergency supplies' when traveling. Probably one of the reasons I really like my camper--always have a clean place!

Theres an outhouse in a regional park nerby where someone kept carving a peep hole through the back. You couldn't really see it from inside unless the sun was right. After a few patches of wood, the covered it up with a sheet of steel. What hapened to playboy, or ......ya know?
 
ew! thatt is really sick. and its not exactly the best vantage point and or time to look at well,you know
