Well, looks like every source I've found so far is illegal, thus why I still don't have them. Bah.
you can try to see if anyone has any in your state or you can take a drive and meet some of us in Pa! :thm:

Chaz, that's still illegal. Restricted species can not be transported across state lines in ANY way, not by air, car, mail, delivery service, by foot or any other methods. Pennsylvania snails must stay Pennsylvania residents. That goes for any other state as well. Believe me, there were canas right across the border in Baltimore, and if it hadn't been illegal, hubby and I would have had to make a trip to the Aquarium and a side trip to pick up more canas. :/
That's why we simply have to make sure that we obtain our snails legally and don't let them die out.
illegal actions will not be tolerated on AC. the usda does watch whats going on and has a increased rate of knocking on peoples doors in the last year or so.lol it's illegal to buy liquer from delaware where there is no tax and transport that but i gurentee u won't get stopped and searched for transporting snails!
Unfortunately, they cannot be moved across state lines, period. In that situation, it really sucks, but, you've got to do what you've got to do. Granted, if you had ONE pet snail that you've had for a year and is about to die of old age, I wouldn't cull it off (just my personal opinion, I don't suggest others do this). But, I certainly wouldn't move a breeding colony, fertile eggs, a fertilized female, plants with possible eggs, etc, etc. And, I most definately wouldn't obtain random snails over the state border just because I really wanted them. There are a lot of things in life that I really want (like a larger number in my bank account for one, lol) that I simply don't have, and simply won't break the law to obtain.
