Well, as I said, I only have the 3 of them, so the idea was not to completely annialate the pond snails - just keep them under control.
Unfortunately, another problem has arisen-the assasins are not being very assasin-like anymore; they've come out of the sand, cruise the tank with pond snail, shrimp, and seed shrimp hitchhikers. If they come across a pond snail on the ground they just roll over it without a second thought, shrink away from any shrimp they might encounter. Have no idea what they are eating, after the first 2-3 pond snails it doesn't appear they have touched them, no empty shells found. I found 3 baby ramshorn snails today which again the assasins just rolled over or around them.
