I have a 20H tank that I breed BN plecos in.

There are SO many MTS that I have been scooping them out regularly and dumping them in a tank that has assassins in it.

I am concerned the MTS may be munching on pleco eggs...tho I presume the male would brush them off.

I could easily add a dozen assassins to work on the MTS population, is this a good idea or would they be a worse choice???

Assasins will prey on pleco eggs. MTS can be a nuisance but will generally not prey on pleco eggs.

it may be kind of hard using the zucchini-trap method since the plecos will like that, but it would be easy to make a trap out of an old breeder box OR a bottle with holes, sunk with rocks or something like that, which the snails can get into, but the plecos can't. load it with zicchini, and let the snails have at it until you pull them out in the morning.

The breeder box is a great idea, glabe. I've never thought of trying that and would imagine that it would work just fine!

Great idea, I have a ramshorn problem, there must have been eggs on some plants I bought a while back. I have sooo many of them. I did the zuchini on a fork and take them off the next day. I'm going to try that bottle trap.
