Assassins not eating

Is 86f too warm for the assassins? Want some in my planted discus tank.

I personally have not heard of them survivng at that temp, but it is more from no one having ever tried than someone trying and they die off.

I would not be surprised if they can handle it.

Just wondering because mine did not make it from california as they were dead on arrival. The package was miss routed and it was cold out.
Wish I could find them closer to me.
I have seen that they are fine up to temps lower than 100f so they should do alright.

lol thanks wendamus, but I have just over 20 ramshorns crawling all over the tank laying eggs wherever there is space, even on each other's shells! They're all about the same size as the ones that are pictured, so I've led the horse to water, it's just not drinking.

Also, it might very well just be my imagination but they seem a little more active since I added gravel. Could be the increase in temp to 78 though. Fingers and toes are crossed that the next step is eating...
