Assorted puffer at Petco?

I was wondering if anyone was familiar with it and knows what type of puffer it actually is. Info on them would also be appreciated.

Agreed, that is the type of sign stores will put up because they have someone unfamiliar with SW in the department.

Actually, Petco sells them as assorted because that is what they are listed as on the order sheet. Even if the aquarist knows what they are they have to be sold as assorted, company policy. In my area more often than not they are valentini puffers. Do a little research and you may get a deal, the "assorted" valentini sells for about 5 bux less than if they buy it as a valentini.

Yeah I only found out because I saw two puffers at different prices, that was the explanation I was given.

Have you looking a photos of puffers online? Around here I see porcupine, dogfaced, pandas, stars and stripes and a few others fairly often.

I have, I haven't found anything it looks like yet. It looks like a cross of a valentini and a blue spotted.
