Anyone know where to get a cheap doser, or how to make one.

A container above your tank filled with whatever you want to dose, an airline tube and an airline valve. Use the airline tubing to create a siphon and the valve to adjust the flow to how much you want to dose. You can also use this for an auto top off device.

I dont like hospitals.... and having those hanging around to dose out chemicals, would seriously mess with my head.
Yeah, Im with u, although cheap still creepy. Im kind of looking for something a little more discreet. Im already having a time hiding the 2zillion parts surrounding the tank already.:dance2:

Here is a pic of my Auto-Air Dosing System:

Brown jug on the left doses micros and Black Water Expert, Green jug on the right doses Macros (N, P, K). The jugs currently last 3 weeks.

The air pump is on a Timer to turn on 3 minutes after the auto water change setup finishes the drain portion.

Cool setup, but from research online i think im gonna dry dose. That is a good idea for vacation time though:dance2:

Just so ya know: I get my Macros from Greg Watson aka AquariumFertilizer.com.
I premix in gallon jugs. The Macros that I use are the "Dry Dose" kind, but they work just as well in this system. Also, I have CSM+B, but I don't like it, so I use Flourish and Tropica Mastergrow for micros.

Yeah, I have the same stuff, and I was on another forum asking for help on how to make my plants grow a little better/fuller. I had been told with a tank my size that the EI method was a little weak. ANd I was told to cut my light in half(484w over 180g). SO im kinda in la la land right now because I thought I had an Idea about what i was doing, but I dont know. Ill probably still do the auto dosing, and i already order the peristaltic pumps so I better find something to do with them.
