Hi,
I read the thread on automatic feeders for an Eclipse Hood. I don't have an eclipse hood. I just have a large plate glass covering the top of my tank. Attachment won't be a problem. And, maybe moisture might not be a problem. The opening is rather narrow so the feeder must be able to drop the food in that narrow slot, which is about 2 inches.
Here's the situation. I have one Pimelodus Pictus in the tank, with a couple of bigger fish. The pictus would prefer to eat at night, when the lights are out. In the daylight, very, very little food will make its way to the tank bottom before the Green Terror gets it. I want to set up an automatic feeder to dispense food in the dark hours of the night. I would probably feed small "bits", nothing like a big pellet.
Can anyone recommend a very good, reliable feeder. Something with a timer that is easy to set up.
Thanks
