I need some ideas in setting up an automatic water top off system. My RO system is in my basement where I make make up water into a 32 gal tub. Now, I manually open a valve and walk up about about a quart of water each day to my tank which is on the first floor. I am thinking of adding a float switch to my sump and connecting it to a pump in the RO tub. I don't have the room to move the top off water upstairs. Therefore, the pump must be able to pump about 20 feet TDH. Has anyone done this?
Another option would to use a dosing pump on a float switch. I'm not sure if the small dosing pumps can pump that high.
