Tropicquarium is in Wannamassa. It is right of Route 35. take the Parkway to exit 105 then go onto rt 35. it is a few miles on the righthand side. A Staples was just built there.
As for exotic freshwater, there really arent too many places in the area that I know of. Once in a while Pet Shanty on Route 22 in Scotch Plains has some oddball stuff, but I never bought anything from them.
