Avoiding going off topic for leo

Sure animals kill for sport...or rather, instincts.......cats are good at that, just about any kind of cat...large or small. Weasels are a pretty nasty group as well. Once read about a weasel that raided a bunny's nest. Bit off all the little bunnies heads and just left them layin there. Didn't eat a morsal.

Ask Jane Goodall about her chimps sometime. She witnessed a mom and daughter pair that would steal baby chimps from thier mom's arms and kill and eat them right in front of them. And I believe that murder that Leopardess mentioned was actually chimps, not gorillas.

Animals are certainly capable of killing for sport and pleasure. We are not alone....lol...

Personally, I see nothing wrong with hunting or fishing. I have enjoyed both activies at various times in my life. There are plenty of deer to be had in our neck of the woods here....they run out in front of cars all the time causing all sorts of accidents and injuries...not to mention eating up everybodies shrubbery (NYEE).... because they ran out of food in the woods.

Part of sharing space with people, involves people having to thin the herds because there just aren't enough wolves and panthers in the woods to take care of them...and personally, I don't mind that at all ! And I don't think many people are going to move over and let the animals take over anytime soon either.

So, like it or not.........hunting is here to stay....

BTW....I totally respect the opinions of those who differ with my viewpoint on this...and hope they are willing to do the same for me.... ;)

On this point at least. :D

And speaking of elephants... I think that I heard that they also have sex for pleasure. Not being nasty, you know, I just found that interesting. Anyhow, I think I heard that somewhere.:)

Believe it or not, this will be useful information for me! *Laughing* To use for a metaphor of course!
