I went to Petco today to get a guppy I saw yesterday. It was very busy in the store and the person in the fish part was busy getting fish out for aomeone else and was telling them about this sand. Someone had bought it online and returned it at the store so they were selling it at a discount price because they had no room for it. Well the guy put it down, so I went and picked it up to look at it. It was 20 LBs of CaribSea Instant Aquarium sand in Black. It was originaly marked as $19.99 but they were selling it for 4 bucks! I'm setting up a tank in a few days and was gonna get some pool filter sand but found this instead! Yay! But when I took it up to the checkout counter, It rang up as 50 cents! Wow What a deal!

Thanks! I feel Lucky! And I'm steeing up a 22 gallon. I may have to get some more black sand though.. I have some about 10-15 LBs of pool filter sand left but I dont know how it will look mixed... I think I'd rather have all black sand for once.
Nope, It says Freshwater but it says its safe for saltwater fish too.

the only thing that keeps me from buying caribsea sand is the price, although I did splurge on their african cichlid sand for a smaller tnak.
Yeah, I'd never spend that much on sand unless there was no other option.

Good deal, I like CaribSea sand, but it's grossly overpriced and I can't bring myself to justify buying it
