Nice tank!!! Quite the variety of fish over time.

That was a beautiful Ram!
The african butterfly is an unusual looking fish. Does it always hang around at the top?

Great pics. I have never seen a tank that had so many large leafed plants in it. It looks fantastic. I sympathize with you over the loss of the Ram. I just lost my last Ram three days ago. Do your kribs do much free swimming, or are they usually hiding in and around the cave?

Wow! Very nice tank and sorry for the loss of the GBR. :( You must really like Amazon Swords, huh? lol. I have question....why is your African Butterfly known as the 'Silent Distroyer'? Is it aggressive towards other tank mates or plants?

During night, the Kribs tend to hang in their cave. During the Day (when the tank light is on) they do a lot of free swimming, occassionally coming back to their cave. They may swim together, or singly while one stays near the cave. They get along well with everyone it seems, but when the rainbows get too close to the cave they get chased away. But they have learned to avoid the kribs, so it seems as if all is going well.

The African butterfly is not aggressive toward anyone in the tank. I have read they can be quite aggressive, but mine is very passive, and has never gone after anyone. Most of the time, he gets spooked if fish come near him, and he 'flys' away, that is he leaps out of the water and drops back in at a new location...hence their 'butterfly' title.

Sorry if the 'silent destroyer' was misleading, he's not aggressive, just looks very stoic (sp?) and he is always lurking...reminds me of like a battleship or something. And, when I drop a few crickets in, then his destroyer name applies. in fact, I used to have a video on here of him eating...I'll see if I can't find the link.
