I've had this plant in place for a few weeks now... there are some leaves remaining at the top of the stems, but most of the stems are just bare of leaves.

Lighting in the tank is good; not doing any dosing in any real sense of the word (Plant Gro - nothing else).

I can't find any explanation for why leaves are just vanishing off the stems.

Thoughts?

I certainly hope it's not the fish... it's actually a friend's tank - he's got otos, frogs, amano shrimp, some gouramis, a couple of guppies, and some sharks... wouldn't have thought any of those would tear apart plans.

NO3... hadn't thought of that... not exhibiting the signs I would have expected, but I'll try it

What size tank and what is the lighting (watts)? "Good" isn't enough. ;) IMO Bacopa will lose leaves even in light that is considered sufficient for it (i.e. medium lighting). Is it getting shaded? Its my experience that B. caroliniana thrives in medium-high light tanks.
