in the last few days both my female mollies and all my female guppies have had babies which is good but there all in my main tank and i really dont want them in there i have been trying to catch them but its so hard without ripping out all my plants so i have put a breeding net in there just under the water so only the babies can get in there i have got a few out but there are still HEAPS in there does anyone know how i can get them out so i can put them in my 20G baby tank?
any info would be great

chances are if you cant catch them then they'll have a good chance at surviving in the main tank. i would just remove the female mollies and guppies into the 20G when they're ready for their next drop which should be in about 4-6 weeks. or just do your best and catch all the fry you can.

one easy way to get a bunch of them would be to try to catch them at feeding time. I have noticed they are pretty fast at that size, but they do come to the surface when i drop in some ground up flake food. That should make it a little easier to try to catch a lot of them. You may have to do it over a few days though.

I have a similar selection of babies going on in my tank... Luckily I managed to get my ladies while they were preg and move them to the breeding/fry tank... made things so much easier... tho my molly young were born in the community tank and i only managed to catch one survivor that i found while on a snail hunt.
