well, we have 2 bronze cory catfish in our 30 gallon tank along with 3 male guppies and 17 neon tetras, and we were just thinking about padding out the cory school, to make them happier, they have been in this tank for maybe 6 months now, and although they have spawned before they have never made it, well this time, they somehow managed to deposit some of the eggs kind of behind and beside the thermometer in the tank corner, so i decided well il leave them there no doubt they will be eaten soon,if not il scrape them off at pwc time in the week. so im looking at these eggs yesterday just before starting to clean, and one wriggled inside 
i sat and watched for maybe 20 mins, and saw all 18 eggs wriggling inside, along with 2 pure white ones which i guess were infertile. right away i removed the eggs to a small plastic tub which i floated in the tank, and re-freshed the water in it every hour by holding it in the filter stream, cam edown this morning to babies 
erv: so adorable! though i am now confused, at most (i found another batch behind the filter) i removed 27 eggs, and a couple of these were possibly white, i have this morning removed the babies using a large pipette and have placed them in a bare bottom nursery tank with an airstone and heater, now, i did this and counted as i went, and there were 38 babies, well 40 but 2 had died! can more than 1 baby be in 1 egg? i was a bit gobsmacked to be honest, as i barely thought 10 would emerge! at the moment they are active and swimming all over the little 3 gallon tank, i doubt many if any will make it but im trying my best for the little guys. they are so cute
