I saw this fish in LFS. It is called a "Baby-Blue-Shark". It has a very small opening for a mouth. Looks like a shark (the salt-water kind). It also has very small eyes. Anybody ever heard of it?? Have never seen one before.

I tried looking around on the net but could find nothing. Does this thing have a scientific name?
was it a pollimyrus castelnaui if not look up mormyridae. wait heres a link to a bunch of them. http://www.fishbase.org/identification/specieslist.cfm?famcode=40&areacode=

blitzen25bm-- No, it is definately not a pollimyrus castelnaui. Do not look like it is in the elephant-nose family.
dt4552-- Definately not a loach, or a red fin shark.
THis fish does look like a semi-blind shark. Looks like "JAW" from the movie with a hole for a mouth. Dark blue color on top of fish, white color on belly.
