I feed my convicts baby brine shrimp every so often, mostly a day b4 or the day of my water changes.
But i would like to get an idea on how i could keep the shrimp from making a huge mess, i mostly just add small pieces off the block till they stop eating it, but it still makes quite a big mess.

Any ideas on how to stop or lighten this mess?

Thanks in advance.

well bbs are very small and even a small portion off of that block can contain a lot of them. i recommend getting a bbs net and putting in a little piece of the bbs block in there and wash it off till they defrost. the net retains a bit of water so if u have a dropper you can simply sit the net in tank water and use the dropper to soak up the amount you want. feed in small amounts and continue to feed them until the first amount is gone then feed another. give them time to consume them instead of leaving leftovers. if this sounds weird tell me and i'll simplify it, because i often complicate directions lol...

Hmmm, i get it and it sounds like a perfect idea.
im gona hit up my local wall mart and pick up a turkey baster and then the LFS to get a BBS net.

Thanks alot, saved me alot of trouble trying to vac the lil suckers out of the gravel tomorrow.

Hmmm, didnt even cross my mind on using one of thoes, thats a better idea becuase i can get a more controled ammount in that then in a turkey baster.

Thanks alot for the advice, i really apreciate it.
