I was kinda trying different things, First I put a lot of java moss in the basket so that they could hide, the fish in the tank were always biting at them through the net. They were getting frozen brine shrimp, flake, and trout chow crumbled up. Every day I would take a plastic pipet and remove decaying food matter. They seemed to like the brine and the trout chow but they both decay quickly and need to be cleaned more often. As they got bigger I fed less flake and more trout chow and sinking pelets, I have to do water changes every other day to remove left overs but I would rather do that than loose some to starvation.
On a happy note, that same pair produced another 100 or so eggs yesterday so we collected them in the same manner to give it another go. This time I saw the mating and she would only mate with the other green in the tank and refuse the albino male. I will try to get more pictures of other stages of what I did this time.
