One batch of my discus are now about 1.5 inches and the other batch are 2.75 or so. I have two questions. My discus babies not fry now are either lemon color or have many traits similar to Heckel do the colors vary each time they lay eggs? One of my discus was dark blue and the other blood orange yet the colors are not even similar? And selling on Craigslist does anyone else sell them this way? Thanks.

Many discus strains have mixed ancestry so even 2 of the same type could have a few variations. Since you have 2 that don't seem similar you may get more types depending on their genetic make-up. Do you know what strains you have? Not that I know much of discus inheritence...& it's hard to tell from small fish what they may look like as adults

I got my discus from a breeder on CL. They're a cross of 2 strains & look like blue turqs but if I were to get fry they may look like either parent or grandparents or something in between.
