I have a 55g a. cichlid tank and came home one day and saw this baby fish, its like a light yellow color, only thing i have a pair of is the slender mbuna. So dunno what it is really. And do they take care of there young or do they eat them?.

it is most likely to be eaten.since mbunas are mouthbrooder, she probably carried anywhere from 15-25 or more fry's .if u planning on rescuing this one you might want to consider moving him into a breeder trap, good luck
