Not to keep bumping the thread, but I got them to eat frozen now. Just took some time to get them really seeing me as the food guy. Early live feedings I had to fish out the minnows as they died to salt while the lions just hid. Eventually hunger won out and they were receptive. Once they really got to climbing to the top when I approached the lid I starved them for five days and now one ate three pieces of frozen. The other only took one but its progress.
At any rate, patience for others starting on weaning one. Once they respond to you as the feeding person it seems to get easier. Hopefully next feeding the still slightly finicky one will go for the frozen food even better. Going to finish off the live fresh feeders I still have and then start dosing frozen food with vitamins as soon as they both take it without any hesitation. I'll update with pics of them once I get some growth. Still only like 3 inches each currently.
