baby plants?

are these new java ferns? if so im curious at how they get off? do they just detach and then reatach to whatever they land on

those are roots from future baby ferns. They wont really detach from the plant themselves, will require your effort in pinching it away.

so when would i take them off? and would i just use string to attach them to another spot on the wood?

I'd take them off once the plantlets seem fully developed. Use string or rubber band to attach them to the wood.

once the new babies are about 3"+ then you may take them off and attach to anywhere in your tank

i had mine like that for awhile. it's about an inch and a half now. bunch of small leaves on one big leaf. how do i take them off ? pull them off or what ?
