baby plants!

ok a. is this a java fern?

b. it now looks like it has baby plants on the ends of some of its leaves. they seem to have their own roots. can i pull them off and tie them to something else?

That doesn't look like java fern to me. Maybe windelov? (http://www.aquahobby.com/garden/e_windelov.php)

I think that you can pull the babies off or let them detach on their own, but I'm very new to plants, so I hope a more experienced member chimes in.

Yes it is a windelov and yes the babies can be plucked and tied down or you can wait and they will fall off

yeah, it's common name is lace java fern.

I am glad you posted this because I was just going to ask how that works. I have some java fern with little baby plants on the end! Thanks for the info.
