Great shots!

Great pics Todd! The plecos are very nice! How's the lady long fin doing?

The lady long fin is looking fine. She's sharing a 29 that's still heavily crusted with algae growth with a male LF just a hair larger, probably very close to the same age. I figure they'll reach breeding size in a couple more months. I'm looking into getting some of the super red BN's, but the fry aren't much more than 1" and $50 apiece.
The uncle (left on bottom pic) was trying to crash the party with Dad and his date last night. I noticed he had a female in his shell, then the other male squeezed in as well. A wiggler got kicked out and the female finally bailed, but no eggs were left behind. I suspect she got stung by the males' spines as they argued for her favors.

Wow! Sounds like you have quite the hot tank going on there! Good luck with those super reds too!

I actually measured one of the babies on the front glass, they're 5/8" total length. The single larger juvie is just a hair over 1". Not bad pics for a point-and-shoot autofocus camera. I'm still researching the super reds, want to make sure I have a tank ready for them. I think they're a selectively bred color variant of regular BN pleco's. If so, I'm thinking outcrossing them with longfin albino's may eventually yield amelanistic red longfins.
