Back of tank: Paint, Printed Background, or leave plain?

29 gallon....... black back....

Hmm...I really like the look of this one. It's the same size as my tank, and I believe the same light fixture. Perhaps I'll invest in some black Krylon Fusion.

Here's mine. It's very dark blue at the bottom and fades to a little lighter at the top. It is actually darker than it appears in the picture.

I just bought a blue back ground and turned it over. the other side was black  thank you, this tank does look better with black as a back ground.

I use sign vinyl from a local sign shop that way if I ever get tired of the color I can change it easily . I have one with black and one with blue. I would put up pictures but I dont have a digital cammera handy.

I have the same blue background as livingword26 above. And the same exact tank and stand...weird. Anyway, it's reversible to black and I've tried both looks. I prefer the blue, personally.

I've always preferred black and brown background for freshwater tanks while blue for marine. Black and brown add depth to the tank and fish feel more secured along with a dark substrate.:)

I just got a black background (printed reverse side). That way it's easier to remove and I don't have to worry about chipping.

Fabric background

I use fabric that I velcroed to the plastic rim of the aquarium. The fabric store usually has some good aquarium colors. I prefer an abstract pattern.
