Thats what I was thinking too Ice he was asking about the breeding pair of cons. If you were not so quick to judge you could of looked at his sig and noticed his two cons 29g. No need to bash him for stuff he is not even asking about....now back to the original topic. I would get some more hiding spots for them maybe break up the lines of sight with some more plants....give the female a place to retreat if she is not ready to spawn. They are convicts they will likely spawn but give the girl a chance to get ready for him.

thanks ice and mostly, i will try those ideas......as for my signature (watauhgachicken), my tank setups aren't even close to being accurate currently

only the JD is in the 55g with 2 plecos and a SAE he doesn't even bother, cuz he is well fed and the 29g of course (tank in question), 10g isn't setup anymore, and the 20g is running just waiting for new convict fry......thank you for your concerns though i got it under control....
