in your house!!
bad news for me anyways, my damsel died :( found him dead the other at the bottom. i dunno why thought. params were 0 ammo, 0 rites 10 rates(lil high but not bad) and sg of 1.018(cause i use a hydrometer). temp is 82 degree F. tank is 10 gallons, movement, penguin 150 with LR rubble for media and power head. any ideas for death cause? tank size was my guess. 1 more question how does 2 pj cards sound in a 10 gallon? there would be shrimp, snails, other invertz and such. not planning on coral at the minute. thanks!

The tank size wouldn't have killed him. How long have you had him? What's your pH? What did he look like when he died? (diseases, etc)
ANd I wouldn't recommend cardinals for a tank that small. If they are big enough, they may try to eat shrimp too.

Not sure what the cause of death was, but I think you should lower the tempt to 79-80. The tempt in a 10 gallon can change rather quickly, so keep an eye on the tempt...especially during summer time.

Temp should not have posed a problem if it was static. Did you have any temp spikes that put it over the 83-84 mark?
