You know, I've never really bother looking into my water conditioner's containers, but I did notice today that a black powder is at the bottom of my Prime bottle, and it smells sorta like ham. Is this normal?

I don't use Prime myself, but I have heard that the smell is rather unpleasant (and not like ham-unpleasant :) ).

Depending on how old the bottle is, and how much sediment is on the bottom, I'd probably just give the bottle a good shake.

I usually give the bottle a quick shake, it can look a little dark at the bottom........:)

I believe on the bottle it says the smell and dark particles are normal.

I've noticed a darkish/grey film on the bottom of even new bottles. I've never had a problem. The smell is there to wake you up, so you don't fall asleep and siphon all the water on your floor :silly:

Nevermind the ham claim, I took a longer sniff at it. It's sort of like a mixture of my foot and cheap olive loaf.

I guess nothing's wrong with it then. Bottle is pretty new, I got it about two weeks ago.
