Bala Shark A Foot And A Half Long!?!?!?

You cant have Bala's with Rainbow sharks, the balas will kill it immediately.

I have 125g tank, with a bala shark about 16" and one about 12". Just got rid of an arrawanna(sp) that was 3'. Sad to see it go. It was awesome. I have two tinfoil barbs over a foot. Also got rid of an irredescent shark about 11/2' , he would go out of control sometimes splashing water all over the place. I have about 30 fish in my tank and people wonder how they get so big with that many fish. I don't feed any fish live food, even the arrawanna had pellots. I made the mistake of getting to into my tanks and over stock with to many fish that grow large. If you can't find a home what do you do then, cookem'. lol
 
lol. Yeah I am getting rid of the balas as soon as they grow bigger. They are awesome fish though. Sad to know they are going to be leaving.
 
anybody have pictures of large balas? I can only find pictures of small ones. I'm pretty sure they are a food fish in their native lands, so there are bound to be a handful of fishing pictures.
