bala shark tank size some places say 40 some say 100 id like to keep one in my 60 gallon is that large enough for him?

:feedback:

Your 60 should be fine, get them small and raise them up. They are def an awesome fish to watch

IMO, they'd do best in a 6'+ tank (as adults). They do get rather large and are very active fish that like to school.

I don't think a 60 is big enough. They can be really skittish, especially if not kept in a group. They are social fish and need to be in groups to feel comfortable. They need more open swimming space than a 60 can provide IMO.

if you follow blue2fyre's advice, make sure you only get one (especially red-tails, they're the most aggressive). Only keep multiples in larger tanks with a bunch of hiding spots (I used to have 3 redtails in my 120 gal)
