Ball Python or Bearded Dragon

I have both a beardie and a ball python- I've had the ball python much longer then the beardie, but i think i love the beardie more. Shes a lot friendlier, definitely not a picky eater and i can take her out as much as i want without her stressing too much. Many ball pythons don't like being handled- in the sense that if they get handled too much then they will get stressed easily and might stop eating for a while. thats my personal expirience with our two critters (and if yur looking into other snakes and lizards then corns boas or cresties are great )

I'd personally go for the bp as I own two of them right now. My female is actually very active and as soon as the sun goes down shes out of her hide and slithering around the tank as if she'd never seen it before. She's also very friendly and will just chill around my neck for hours. I also like point dundadundun made about the advantage of being able to go away for extened periods of time without having to feed them. I just a huge fan of snakes though

i agree with this i mean, i also have a beardie and i have a corns snake but with the bearded dragon i have to feed it gut loaded dusted crickets and vegis more than i have to feed my snake. and if i have to go away for a week or so i know i can just feed myand go but then i have to have a friend or a family member watch after the lizard and feed her. but i love to chill with her and then agin i love to chill with my snake, and i am actually thnkning after a few months of getting my new beautiful cresties im going to get a ball python. because from what iv seen they are fairy active and are fine with just hanging out with you like my beardie
