Balloon molly questions please

My first question is... Do the babies look similar to guppies? I have four babies in my tank that look alot like guppies but shorter tails and seem to swim with a little more wiggle.They were all hiding on the bottom of my tank.They are not white like my females but seem to be a little more golden then my guppies. Also my fattest female was slightly aggressive and was chasing my males. Now Iv'e actually seen her mating with one of my males last night.She also seems a little thinner. I have had fish for 30 years and never saw an actual matingCould these be baby balloon mollies? I have them in my breeding net with a few baby guppies at this time. Thanks

Yeah, when they're first born, you won't be able to tell them apart.

I have had black sailfin molly babies and they were black so I wasn't sure.

Ok I have caught about 8 of these babies over a 2 day period. They are all different shades of colors.I'm pretty sure they are mollies. I feel like a little kid from the excitement. hahahaha Do the parents always try to eat them or are they like guppies ? ...some do and some don't eat their fry. I hate to leave them in this baby nursery for weeks.
