Baloon rams?

i think you are reffering to balloon blue rams? I would never buy these since they are hybrids/deformity but its your choice.

They are a genetically altered german ram. It's just like how they got balloon mollies. Care is just the same as with any other german ram.

people are just more used to seeing deformed goldfish..i'm sure if ryukins, or lionheads were new, there would be an "uproar" if you will..among goldfish enthusiasts.

since balloon rams are fairly new, and keepers are not used to seeing them 'compacted"..it's still a little bit of a shock to us hobbyists, but ifthey were around as long as goldfish..there wouldn't be much of a..digust in them, the first time i ever saw one it actually made me nauseous..but like a good fiend of mine once said....whatever tickles your pickle .

i personally prefer the original..obviously...not a fan of deformed fish, and most hybrids
