bamboo and beta?

any advice keeping bamboo in a tank with beta? can bamboo survive half submerged? will the fish eat the leaves or roots?

the betta shouldnt bother the plant. the bamboo should survive being half submerged. some people have had luck with it fully submerged and others havent.

If you can help it, try to keep the leaves and tops of the bamboo above water. It should live long-term this way.

bettas are carnivorous so it's going to leave the plant roots alone.
