hello. yesterday i got a small banana plant with a free sword(funny story) anyways this morning i had to take it out of the filter intake cuz my convict wont stop un planting it. anyways when i took it out i put it on my desk when the phone rang. anyways it ended up iforgot all about it and i come back 2 hours late and all the leave re melted but the roots are fine so now i have it in aseparate part of the tank . i took off the leaves and wonder if they will grow back . also i wonder if it woul be better if i put it in a fountain in a pot with gravel outsides than i cn get strong lighting?i rreally dont know what to do. help?

it may take a long time to grow back. I had a banana plant a while back and all the leaves died but the roots were still in tact. I kept it in my tank for a few months but finally I just threw it out.
