I believe the "bananas" of the banana plant are only called that cause they "look" like bananas but are not at all. Rather, they're some type of nutrient storage (forgive me if I am wording this incorrect), but absolutely not a fruit. It's like we should all add some amazon sword leaves into our pasta salad and drizzle it with vinegar & oil
When I get home l8r, I will take a pic of my banana plant from top of the tank with canopy removed ... all of the lilly shooters that are coming out of it look like spider legs! I'll post tonite.
If this keeps up, I may have to trim the lillies as they are starting to cover the top blocking light.
