hi,

anybody here has a banded leporinus?
just brought home one, about 12 inches..

any tips on how to care for them?
like what diet do they like.. etc,,.

I have kept leporinus in the past.
My impression was that they were very hardy, and ate just about anything.
These fish are very agile, fast swimmers when they want to be and are difficult to catch in a net.
They are also renowned jumpers, so keep the tank covered, or they will take flight.

i have the tank tyightly covered:)
its with my 16 inch arowana:)
